Horizon18 has officially started!
Welcome to the inaugural Horizon18 Summit, at the Hynes Convention Center on 10-11 October. An impressive set of sponsors and partners are taking action at this new summit for the clean economy.
The Opening Session “Translating Climate Goals into Innovations, New Markets and Partnerships”, addressed the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the Global Climate Action Agenda. Effective use of current and groundbreaking innovations and technologies, the creation of new markets, as well as partnerships between public and private actors are key to leading the transition towards a global clean economy.
”We are excited for two action-driven days here in Boston. Our concept is unique in focusing on the business of the clean economy and matching customers, suppliers and, financial institutions”, says André Schneider, CEO of Geneva Airport and Chairman of World Climate Ltd.
The two-day agenda will cover sectors and industries such as energy, waste, water, production, mobility, and cities; and will bring together state and city public officials, startups, corporations, and investors in enabling forward-thinking stakeholders to translate climate goals into cutting-edge projects and partnerships for the development of a clean economy future.
Horizon18 is ideally situated in the middle of a world-class clean economy ecosystem. Boston, Massachusetts and the US Northeast are home to an internationally leading community of innovators who are driving the transition to local, regional, and global clean economies.
